Don’t attack! Just go away!

So this morning the ant killer guy was at the office to help rid us of our crazy carpenter ant problem. And I think a wasp followed him in the building. So I was ducking and moving and dipping and running and then I ran to the bathroom and my coworker got the wasp out of the building.

So now I’m sitting here on my break – minding my own business, reading blogs, watching the rain – and a darn wasp has somehow entered the building. So now I’m sitting here typing with my sweater pulled up to cover my neck because I don’t want this stupid wasp to think the tattoo on my neck is a real flower. Because I KNOW this bug is out to get me!

I did it again…

I let James talk me into watching a Stephen King movie – again. We watched Desperation over the weekend. It wasn’t particularly scary, but it wasn’t pleasant. I didn’t enjoy it. While I was ok with Rose Red, Storm of the Century, Stand by Me, Carrie, The Shawshank Redemption, and Dreamcatcher, I wasn’t ok with Desperation.

The first movie James and I saw together was Snatch – I really like that movie. But the second movie we went to see – that was Hannibal. And James kept falling asleep. Great.

You want to know what’s up with the pregnancy…here’s what’s up!

I don’t fit my pants and skirts very well, so I’ll probably be pulling out the maternity clothes this weekend – even though I’m only 10 weeks!

I haven’t been active lately. Does chasing Katelyn around for an hour or so in the evenings for the past 19 days count? Well now that the rosary is over I guess I better start walking again.

Rootbeer and chocolate make everything better. So does mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I need to get some new shoes. I only own way-too-high-for-a-pregnant-woman shoes.

I don’t feel like looking nice anymore. I’m much more of a slob now than I ever have been. I don’t need to wear pink and use eyeshadow. Maybe I’m having a boy.

I’m very happy that I’m not as nauseous as I was with Katelyn. I’m constantly freaking out that I’m going to get constipated – this is frequent in pregnant women.

I’d like to have a VBAC, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Katelyn is still susu-ing. I don’t know how to get her to stop. I just can’t stand to see her wake up and cry in the middle of the night….waah, susu, mommy, susu!

I no longer have an office. I work in a cubicle. I don’t know how I’m going to pump.

If we have a boy we’ll name him Jacob Seth. If we have a girl, we’ll name her….something. It’d be cute to have a little Jake running around. But it’d also be cute to have two little girls whispering and giggling around the house.

My nails are growing quickly.

I think I should drink more milk. I think I eat too much sugar.

In other news….I missed Laguna Beach last night! But it’s ok because I’m off tomorrow.

Shoot! I’ve got to go.

I’m out!

Utu?

I was fixing Katelyn’s hair to go to the rosary on Saturday night and James said, “Katelyn, I have a surprise for you. Daddy bought you this cool Japanese comb.”

He reached into a black plastic bag, pulled something out, and handed me a two-sided wooden comb. I looked at it and said, “James, this is a lice comb.” He said, “but you can use it, right?”

I’m sorry I haven’t been answering my phone. Half the time I don’t know where it is. For the past two weeks all I’ve done is go to work, go home, bake something, get ready, get Katelyn ready, go to my Aunt’s rosary, come home, get Katelyn ready for bed, get myself ready for bed, put Katelyn to sleep, sleep. And now I’m getting sick. I want to talk, I just haven’t had the chance.

James-san is in the paper.

The article isn’t great. Some of it’s not even right. But James pic is in the paper. So is my cousin Pete, Cesar, and Bill and his wife.

April 15

The ultrasound on Friday says that I’m due on April 15. They didn’t print me any pictures…but my baby looks like a kidney bean with a heart beat. It’s so cute.

I met Chris.

Chris Malafunktion – that’s what I call him. I met him at the fight – PXC Preba Hao. It was really good. It was a great venue, a great team of organizers, a great crowd – even though there were three non-PXC sanctioned fights afterward.

I got to sit ringside. I really enjoyed it. I hope that I can help out at the next one.

The last fight was a bit conflicting for me. Bill ‘Kill Bill’ Saures is one of my cousin’s fighters, who James also trains from time to time. And he was going to fight Manny Chong. And I was sitting with Manny Chong’s wife and talking with her during breaks. I stayed kinda quiet most of that fight. It was a good fight.

TLC – The Lazy Child, er…The Learning Channel

I stayed home on Tuesday. I think I over did it on Monday. Not only had I not been feeling that great since Friday afternoon, but I also went overboard with the croissant dough. I wanted to make all my dough in one shot. I needed to go back to work on Tues, Wed, and Thurs, and there’d be no way I could make the dough and bake the croissants and make it to the rosary on time – so I made a lot of dough, froze three portions, and baked a batch of croissants. It took ALL DAY, and used ALL MY STRENGTH. The next day, I could barely move my left arm, I had a headache, a backache, my feet hurt and I was exhausted!

So I stayed in and watched a buttload of TLC. I saw three episodes of A Baby Story, two episodes of Bringing Home Baby, Surviving Motherhood, 10 Years Younger, and A Makeover Story. Can you tell that babies and girlieness are on my mind?

All the laboring mommies on A Baby Story are so lucky. They give epidurals in the states. Not on Saipan. I watched my sister go through labor and delivery without an epidural. I went through 10 hours of labor without an epidural – well, ok, it was still early stages of labor so the pain wasn’t too bad. But whatever, even if I wanted one, I couldn’t have had it.

Now I know what I’ll be doing on my austerity holiday Fridays – watching A Baby Story!! I love that show anyway, but when I’m pregnant, I just want to watch it all day! I almost want to film my own Baby Story. I’d like to try for a VBAC, but I fear it will end up the same as it did last time: 9 days overdue, labor is induced using cytotec, no progress is made – only contractions, sporadic signs of fetal distress, water breaks after 10 hours – thick with meconium, stronger and more frequent contractions, 2 cm, emergency c-section is called. That’s all folks.
